After defining all the details of the route of the rally scheduled for May 19 th to 21 st and having open the entries for the third round of the 2011 FIA European Rally Championship, the Croatia Rally organizers are preparing to launch the full program of side events that will join the show to the sport in the pedestrian center of Rijeka, where the Service Park will also be located. In the next days on the event website www.croatia-rally.com the presentation of the candidates for Miss Croatia Rally will start.

Meanwhile, the drivers who aspire to the European championships have begun to send to the FIA their entry to the series, as prescribed by the regulations. While these will remain open until the end of May, 10 drivers are already registered at the end of February, beginning with the reigning European champion and winner of the 2010 Croatia Rally Luca Rossetti. Among others there are the Italians Piero Longhi (the first driver announced with a car of the new "Regional Rally Car" category, a John Cooper Works Mini with a 1.6 turbo engine), Alessandro Perico and Giovanni Vergnano, Polish Szymon Ruta and Maciej Rzeznik, Bulgarian Dimitar Iliev and Petar Gyoshev, Slovenian Rok Turk and Frenchman Mathieu Biasion.
