Luca Rossetti at the Rally du Valais to conquer mathematically the title of European Champion.

Luca Rossetti is getting ready at the wheel of the Abarth Grande Punto S2000, with the colours of United Business, to tackle the final scheduled round of the European Championship, the difficult but fascinating and prestigious 52° Rallye International du Valais which will be held in Switzerland from Thursday 27 th to Saturday 29 th October, and will include 17 timed special stages for 264.71 km and a total length of 708.68 km. This will be an important and decisive event for the strong Italian driver, codriven by Matteo Chiarcossi, who in the race where he triumphed last year, in addition to aiming to climb once again on the top step of the podium of this spectacular rally intends to conquer the mathematical certainty of winning the 2011 European Rally Championship.

In this last race, the Abarth crew, which is only 4 points short of winning the title, have a good chance of getting a positive result, thanks to the latest victory in the Rally d'Antibes, a race dominated by the two times European Champion. "Luca has had a great season this year, he has always been very fast, and has tackled all the races with great determination and professionalism – said Pier Liberali, team principal of United Business – he is a fast driver in every situation, and thanks to his intelligence in race management is concrete and competitive in all the rallies. He accepts the challenges and loves to compete in rallyes which are completely new for him and the challenge with the international drivers motivates him. The goal of United Business in the Swiss event is to aim at a podium, even though we know it will be a difficult challenge. I am obviously confident that Luca can win the European title, unlike his competitors he has done less events, only 8 out of 11 on the calendar, but I am sure that he will get his third title. It would be the first time a driver wins the European Championship three times, which is certainly rewarding, both for the crew and for our society that has accompanied Luca's career in these years".
