The last 2 weeks have given us a bit more time to take in the sights of Europe before preparing for next weeks Rally GB. Complete contrast though has been our team, Symtech Racing who have been very busy building a brand new R4 car in a matter of a couple of weeks. They have done a great job and the car is looking great. They have a few finishing touches to do before the car leaves in a couple of days time.

We cross the water for the UK tomorrow before heading north to Wales. Then on Sunday we have our first and only test with the car which will give is a good chance to get the car dialled in for the conditions and learn what the new car can do. Certainly from looking at it in the workshop today it will be a much improved package from the Group N, with adjustable suspension arms giving us a lot more adjustment for set-up and being able to adjust the geometry of the car in ways that we have never been able to with the PWRC car. We have a good base set-up to start with from the PWRC car so its not as bad as starting from scratch but there will be more learning in terms of how much further we can take the set-up forward. We are also lucky that Reigier have been involved in helping to develop new suspension for this car which has a lot more travel. I will keep you all updated of how our test ing goes.

We are also happy to announce our upcoming national roadshow around New Zealand, starting in Auckland on 23 November. We will be visiting many PlaceMakers and Subaru branches from Auckland to Dunedin with many giveaways and prizes. We will have further information out in the next couple of weeks in regards to exactly what stores and at what times we will be there. Keep an eye out and spread the word!

A question that we are getting asked a lot is regarding our 2012 plans. Rest assured we are continuing to work very hard and there are certainly some exciting options on the table but we are currently going through the processors of trying to secure the required funding. We hope to near a decision before Christmas.
