Haddon Paddon: Brother Rally NZ Testing

All has been going well here in Auckland as we prepare for the upcoming Brother Rally of New Zealand.

Test Successful

All has been going well here in Auckland as we prepare for the upcoming Brother Rally of New Zealand. While things have been very busy, our preparation have gone well, especially after a successful test today with our Skoda. Today was our first time driving our Skoda S2000 car in New Zealand conditions, and it was a joy to drive. We made a lot of changes and improvements, mainly with the suspension. I am now feeling really good and comfortable in the car going into the event. You can see the following video link to see footage from todays test:

New Partners Onboard

The media interest around our team and rally has already been massive, with many TV stories, interviews and appearances. It will also great to work with PlaceMakers and Giltrap Skoda this week, meeting their customers and showing them the car. The media attention around the rally next week will continue to grow, but now it is time to focus on the rally starting with the upcoming recce.

We have been very lucky to recently secure the support of several New Zealand companies who are supporting our Rally of New Zealand campaign. As previously reported, it is great to have ENZED on board, but we have also announced Z Energy joining us, a New Zealand owned and operated chain of petrol stations nationwide. We have also welcomed Ewing Engineering Contractors, Stadium Finance and Rallytours. We also have some more announcements in the coming days – watch this space.

Dress like the team

We also have our new merchandise range available for purchase, both at this weeks Brother Rally of New Zealand or on our website, www.haydenpaddon.com.

That’s all for now. Will keep you posted throughout the week and if you are at the event, come and say hi.
