With 3rd place in Division II on Rally Idrija Aljoša Novak ended his season in Slovenian national championship now he will change form tarmac to gravel surface.

Rally Idrija was the last race in Slovenia for Aljoša and his codriver Matej Čar. Wih Škoda Fabia R2 they drove 6 sepcial stages in Idrija and suroundings- one of them was a spectators stage in downtown Idrija. Dispite the bad start the finish was much better so they manage to get first podium in Division II (only 2WD cars) and 4th overal in Slovenina championship.

''At the begining of the race I was not satisfied with my driving. I did not find a good rythm and I was literally catching myself from corner to corner. In the second part fo the rally I managed to improve my driving, stage times and feeling and managed to make it to the podium. Bitter taste remains in desire for better results. Now we are changing tamrmac suspension on Fabia R2 to gravel suspension because we will be participating in two gravel events this year. First will be Rally Santa Domenica in Croatia then we are heading to Prealpi Master show in Italy.'' said Aljoša after rally in Idrija.
