So we can now finally inform you of some good news that we will be returning to the WRC this year.

For now we have entered the WRC2 (formally known as Super 2000) and will be driving the same Skoda S2000 with the same BRR team that we ran the second part of last year. At this stage we have confirmed the first 2 rounds, the first being Finland and the second Germany.

Im really excited to get back to Europe and prove our speed. It will also be a pleasure to be back behind the wheel of a S2000 car.

The rules in this years WRC2 have changed a little that you can nominate any 6 rounds of the WRC. After Germany there are still 4 rounds remaining in the championship. We could tackle a full championship, but at present we do not have the budget for this.

The main target of the campaign is to put our name back out there and to get two good results – which has to be to win. In order to get the attention of the teams and particularly the new teams coming back to the sport, we need to set fast stage times and put ourselves head to head with the best of young drivers from all over the world. I know we can deliver – so I cant wait.

The first rally, Finland, is at the start of August, while the tarmac rally of Germany is 3 weeks later. We will also speed July in Europe as we try and meet with people and seek further opportunities.

A huge thanks to everyone that has helped to make this opportunity possible, in particular the directors of HPRG for securing funding in these very difficult times. We have also had amazing support from all our partners and team.

In the meantime we will continue with our NZRC campaign in our Stadium Cars Evo9, including Whangarei and the Daybreaker.
